Another steamy Dare man finding love with a woman he least expected because he has treated her so harshly over the years. This romance brings two people with painful pasts together to heal, to forgive and to find a partner to stand with. Sweet, sad and romantic.

I wish there was more to each one of these book and the series. I would love to know what happened with Tyler and Elle

Everyone has left and Ella stays behind to make sure no problems arise. But she is mugged and lands in a hospital as a hurricane is about to hit. So her best friend Avery, Tyler's sister, begs him to go down and take of her. When she is released, someone has broken into her hotel room. They have to wait until the hurricane is over before they can leave. Once back home, someone breaks into her apartment and Tyler moves her in with him. He is slowly realizing he may not be able to live without her. But first they've got to find out who is after her and Ella has her own insecurities to deal with. Between sisters having babies, facing their fathers, and someone who thinks Ella has something they want...it's a story you can't put down. The sex is out of this world hot. Two people learning to share their burdens and rely on each other. I love Ms. Phillips stories. They are entertaining and sexy. I hope Serena gets her own story. If she hasn't already.

This was a sweet easy read, no angst just a second chance for love. They have known each other since they were kids and after one night together he has avoided her now she is in trouble and needs him to get her out. Once he is with her he realizes that he has been wrong to stay away all these years. Throw in some mystery and drama and you have an overall good read.
