Now includes bonus novella DAIMON

The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi—pure-bloods—have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals—well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures.

Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1: Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden.

Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem—staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck.

Since I’ve been in quarantine I took it upon myself to start this series and it did NOT disappoint! I read this series within 24 hrs. This novel will have you flipping through those pages! Down to the plot line, the character development, and their power arch— I’m left breathless. This series was so powerful. I’ve read almost every one of Jen’s novels and she always keeps me coming back for more! I usually don’t read series because I get bored with them or the plot line falls off but I can promise you that this will leaves you HOOKED!!! Anyway stop reading this review and go read!!!!!
  • Such an Interesting World

    By Katiekoz
4.5☆ I really enjoy this world, it is different and very interesting. I love the characters so far, especially Aiden and Alex. Not that I don’t love Jennifer Armentrout’s normal male characters, because I really do, but I love that Aiden is different from them.
