From USA Today and #1 bestselling fantasy author Morgan Rice comes a new fantasy series for teens and adults.

THE MAGIC FACTORY: OLIVER BLUE AND THE SCHOOL FOR SEERS (BOOK ONE) tells the story of one very special boy, Oliver Blue, different than those around him and unloved by his hateful family. Obsessed with inventions, Oliver is determined to escape his horrible life and make his mark on the world.

When Oliver’s family moves again, to another awful house and school, he is bullied and excluded, and sees no way out. But when he stumbles across an abandoned invention factory, he wonders if this could be his way out. Who is the mysterious old inventor hiding in the factory? What is his secret invention?

And might this factory be a portal to somewhere else?

An inspiring fantasy, THE MAGIC FACTORY is book #1 in a riveting new series filled with magic, love, humor, heartbreak, tragedy, destiny, and a series of shocking twists. It will make you fall in love with Oliver Blue, and keep you turning pages late into the night.

Book #2 in the series (THE ORB OF KANDRA) and Book #3 (THE OBSIDIANS) are now also available!
“The beginnings of something remarkable are there.”

  • Not a fan.

    By Selkie The Great
It is a really poorly written Harry Potter rip-off. There are grammatical and word usage mistakes, as well as repetitive descriptions. How many times can trash blowing in the wind be mentioned in the first chapters before the reader tires of it? How many times can the main character get lost in the hallways? I can not understand how this even made it through editing. The story is just ok; some characters are likable yet underdeveloped. Many situations that the main character finds himself in are tiresome, or just plain ridiculous. It is like the author just couldn’t come up with anything else to say. I would pass on this one.
  • Great read

I really enjoyed this book except for the bullying. It seemed as if no one would be kind to Oliver. It was too much, but I guess that is what you feel when an author is able to write so well that you care about the characters so deeply. Thank you for sharing your book.

A very interesting story. I thoroughly enjoyed this tale that creates anew world mirroring our own! Characters are well written and interact very well with each other!
  • Amazing story of friendship, magic, time, and some history!

Starting this book, one would assume it’s extremely similar to the Harry Potter series considering the first couple chapters. Keep reading. While the introduction is fairly similar, the concept of the story goes into a different direction and even the name of the book, it makes you assume it’s a story about young wizards but it’s about an entirely different concept. There is also a real life history aspect of the story than many books avoid and decide to create an entirely new universe, Morgan Rice is able to place her story into our world and describe how the main characters interact with real events.

One almost thinks that in the beginning it was on the same lines as a Harry Potter twin. But keep reading, the twist comes along! Very intriguing story plot. Definitely reading this series :)
  • Went too hard in the paint

I liked the bullying/anxiety build up at first, but Lucas took the shtick too far. Also, black is the color that reflects no spectrum of light. White reflects them all.
