This was a decent book! I think I was too excited to read it if that makes sense. I’d heard great things, but for whatever reason this one just didn’t completely pull me in. The story was novel, and the characters and premise were cool, but I just didn’t get excited to pick it up. I almost feel like there were too many characters and storylines happening at once?

I hated the writing and the story development. Too many characters, too many details about inconsequential things that was too distracting. The conversations just prattled on and on, making it annoying.
  • Cozy Murder Mystery

Great book, easy to digest chapters, and a fantastic array of characters. The only reason why its not five stars is because I felt too comfortable with the cast and honestly lost interest in who the murderer was. Great overall!

I am glad I read this book. It was inspiring for the aging population. I only read at night so struggled to remember all the characters from the different time periods. So don’t ask me who was the killer.

I have read 26 books so far this year, and this was my favorite. What a hidden gem. More people should be talking about this book! I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

It’s like a mix between The Golden Girls and a Murder Mystery! I loved it!
