Jason is a cynical rich playboy.
He doesn’t take life seriously,
He doesn’t believe in settling down.

Eileen's thirtieth birthday is almost here.
But as always she's her parent’s afterthought.
Her family is too busy planning a shotgun wedding for her older sister—and she has to help.
It’s just another year where she’s overlooked.

But the best man is smoking hot and actually notices her and makes her feel special.

Jason doesn’t believe in commitment, but Eileen intrigues him.

She’s not the kind of girl he usually hooks up with.
She doesn’t even fall for his charm.
He’s made it his task to convince her that he’s not the shallow man she thinks he is.
But can Jason give up his playboy lifestyle to become what Eileen needs?

  • Not my HEA

This author is great at storytelling. Not disappointed in this one. Only thing I’d change is a paragraph to maple it my HEA.

The author did a brilliant job chronicling the development of the relationship between the main characters. The relationship described had depth and heart. This wasn’t just a collection of sex scenes. It took a lot of talent, imagination, and experience to create such interesting, complex characters. Loved the humor and wit of the conversations between the love interests!

Not really a deep story. Good plot, but just not fleshed out enough. I felt there where holes in the story, like there should be more to it. Stopped in the middle the flow just stopped.

Not sure of story at the beginning. Was to slow, but I kept reading hoping it would come together. The family with the spoiled, daughter. How she was enabled by her mother and of course her sister, so sad. Did like The “He” in story and of course the ending. TY

okay i actually love this book. i love the vocabulary, the description, the emotion, the excitement. i loved it, but there is alot of flashacks and they get confusing, if im honest i had to skip through some. they do add to the story but i dont think theyre all that important. they also need a warning before, so that were more aware of what’s happening. but overall i love this book

I loved this book , it had a story that makes you believe there is love out there for those that had their love shattered . Jason had been stood up at the alter and was a not a believer in love anymore until he met Eileen . Eileen had always been put aside by her parents in favor of her sister . While working on the shotgun marriage of two relatives his cousin and her sister . These two find each other and a HEA.

I read so many books, sometimes I forget the authors and how they write, and accidentally choose another one. This one evidently loves the “F” word because she uses it a lot. I got to page 59 and quit.

I like this book to a certain degree. The pace is awkward at best. If you’re going to do a flashback then at least warn the reader so their not confused on what is going on. There were multiple times that I was lost reading this book and multiple times I wanted to stop. The only reason I didn’t is because I wanted to see if she would stand up for herself or just stay in the corner like a little mouse and be ran over continually by her family. It could be better. There’s a part in the book where it goes from the wedding to Eileen meeting Jason’s family on a random Sunday (before or after the wedding, no idea) then back to the wedding with no warning! It’s confusing!
