Loved reading the engaging and amazing romance story. Faye opens up to Pierce and tells him her secrets, but Pierce's secrets lead him to hurt and distance himself from Faye. After Pierce destroys his marriage to Faye, his father dies, and he needs Faye to either sign the divorce papers or come to Baker's Creek to live with him. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written and riveting story of one woman's selflessness and love for a man. Can't wait to read more books in the series!

This was a love story gone wrong. But, in the end, true love wins over. I enjoyed this book so much. Couldn’t stop reading. This is a series I will read to the end. You feel like you are a part of the family. It pulls you in. If you haven’t started the series, do it. You’ll love every book.

Every book from this amazing series by Ms. Burgoa makes me fall in love harder with Baker's Creek and the Aldridge family. This is Pierce and Leyla's story and I have been waiting for this one! These stories can be read as stand alones, but do yourself a favor and read them all! You will get hints, glimpses and a bit of mystery surrounding the marriage of Pierce and Leyla. But now you get the full story and what a heartbreaker it is! You find out more about both of them and you see the beginning of their relationship and marriage. You can see the problems, the bad decisions and the heartbreak that they both feel. This story starts at the end and brings you back to an even better beginning. You see the new evolution of Leyla and Pierce and it's amazing to read! You also get more mystery revealed with what the elder Aldridge plan was for the future of Baker's Creek and his sons. You get more questions that are being asked and I cannot wait to find out more! I wish Baker's Creek was a real place, Ms. Burgoa's talented writing creates a beautiful town and a people that are becoming a part of it.

I devoured this book! Loved Pierce and Leyla. I actually have been waiting for their story since book 1 and sheesh it did not disappoint. In my heart of hearts I knew there was more to their pasts than the lil preview we received. The dynamic of these 2 was awesome. We could see the instant connection. I will warn that you will want to smack pierce at times but it’s the way he is. Loved and can’t wait for more of these brothers and sister!!

This is the third book in the series and Claudia has as always done an exceptional job delivery this captivating and heartfelt story. It’s a beautiful and heartwarming second chance romance. Pierce is a lawyer and meets Layla whose a vet by chance & they fall in love with each other and get married, however after they are married, they start growing apart due to other priorities , which causes misunderstandings, insecurities and they decide to end their relationship & go separate way, however Pierce father dies and according to his will they both have to move to Baker’s Creek . This is a second chance for both of them to realize what their relationship means to each other and rediscover their feelings for each other. The story was very well written and unputdownable. I can’t wait to read more books in this series.

Defying Our Forever was really eye opening for me. We met Layla and Pierce in the first book of the series. Until this book I thought he was an insufferable jerk and I wasn’t really sure about her. I just couldn’t understand why she wouldn’t sign the divorce papers. In this story we see how Pierce and Layla met and fell in love. We also find out how they ended up ready to divorce. Their story made my heart hurt. Pierce didn’t want to be the man he had become, his mother had pushed him into being that person. He didn’t understand that he could be better. And poor Layla was an amazing woman. She had a horrific childhood, but turned out to be a very caring person despite her upbringing. This book broke my heart, but was put back together again by the end. As with the other books, we find out a little bit more about the Aldridge mens father. I loved this book and I’m ready to see which brother is next!

Defying Our Forever by Claudia Burgoa finally tells us the story of Pierce and Leyla. We learn about their history before landing in their current situation. They share witty banter and I loved their back and forth. But with neither being totally open and honest with each other, can they make it together? They definitely share steamy chemistry, but also a whole bunch of obstacles stand in their way. Can they find a way to stay together and see what they truly have before it’s too late? I loved not only getting their history but watching them interact and find each other again. Defying Our Forever by Claudia Burgoa was sweet and charming read full of the best feels. Happy reading!

Loved, loved this romantic comedy saga story of the Aldrich brothers. This is the third book of the Baker’s Creek, Oregon, Billionaire Brothers series—this is Pierce Aldrich and Leyla Faye Gibbs’ story, who had a love/hate relationship. This is an unputdownable, fun, flirty, and delightful second chance story that summed up so succinctly the very essence of romance. I really loved Henry and Sophia’s story, but this one is a little different, and Claudia did a fantastic job in bringing these characters together! This book was heart-wrenching in its emotional angst, highs and lows of the main characters’ struggles as they help each other try to get what they each need. Claudia Burgoa is an amazing storyteller. She made me laugh and cry, often times in the same sentence; and the way she develops her characters and tells their story, it captivated me from the start. Leyla didn’t know much about Pierce—he’s a stranger—and yet, he’s not, he flirted with her, he kissed her, he hooked up with her, he had sex with her—their chemistry leaps off the page.
