    4.5 Stars  This is book 2 in The Kingston Family series and it features Chloe Kingston and Beckett Daniels. She’s got a lot to figure out now that her life isn’t going exactly like she planned.  She’s got this gorgeous, sexy man who has come to her rescue after she was left at the alter.  Can she have a “just for fun” good time with Beck while she puts her life back together?   Fabulous story line with awesome characters!  This is a shorter than normal book but the story was fantastically complete with no holes in anybody’s thread. I can’t wait to read the next book in this family drama filled, sexy series!

    The second book in the Kingston Family series was wonderful. Beck and Chloe hit it off in the lowest point of Chloes life. Beck was there for her after being left at the alter and saved her when she was drunk. Chloe’s brother thinks it was to get back at him since they have history between them. Seeing them go from friendship to trust and love was sexy and I could not put the book down. Waiting for her brothers, Xander and Dash’s books! Carly Phillips never disappoints. Even if you haven’t read Lincs book this is a stand-alone but I highly recommend reading every book from Carly Phillips. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Dumped at the alter via text Chloe just wants to escape. Trying to make the best of her receipts on with her friends running into Beck and his brothers was not what she expected. Beck cannot believe his old friend’s sister is here but he is determined to make sure she stays safe but can he keep his heart safe? Offering Chloe a place to stay and get her life back on track he just can’t ignore the chemistry between them. Can Beck learn to trust and open his heart? I love these two together!

No. What's a girl to do when her fiance breaks up with her via text on their wedding day? Get drunk, of course. And everything spirals from there. Chloe finally stands up to her brothers. Linc has to come clean about what happened to his friendship with Beck twice. Chloe grows a backbone thanks to Beck, but it ends up costing her her heart. Is it worth it? I'm not sure. I enjoyed this love story even though that's not how it started out. Life likes to throw curveballs and these two were thrown a few. Did they strike out or did they hit a homerun? Read the book to find out.

    I really enjoyed Chloe and Beck’s story. It was easy to read, a perfect vacation read. It’s amazing how things that happen in your childhood can affect how you live in your adulthood. Both Beck and Chloe had people in their lives that skewed what they expected or didn’t expect in having a long lasting relationship. Sometimes, it takes a wrench in a perfectly planned out life to make someone realize what they actually want out of life. That’s what happens to both Chloe and Beck.

Love this family!! Up next is Chloe Kingston and Beckett Daniels, ex best friend of her brother Linc. When Chloe is left at the altar she digs into the champagne from the reception and stumbles into Beckett. Something tells Beckett he needs to keep her safe til she can figure out what to do now. What happens when Linc finds out Chloe is staying with Beckett? Can they keep their relationship platonic? Past tragedy, sizzling romance, laughter, tears, repairing friendships and so much more. Can’t wait for the next book in the series…Xander!
