This is a fabulous story that’s about second chances with a surprise baby in the mix. Aurora is a sympathetic heroine having grown up in foster care and later finding a long lost sibling. Soon her life has changed for the better for both her and her daughter. And then comes the kicker, the man from her past is in her present. Nick is a terrific hero. Maybe a little bossy but so sexy. Yum! His reaction to the daughter he never knew about is emotional and watching him become a father is heart melting. This is a fantastic story full of terrific characters and a wonderful family atmosphere. Full of emotion, drama, and sweet love. Worth the read!. This is book 5 in The Kingston Family series and it features Nick Dare and Aurora Kingston. Six years ago they had a one night stand, with no last names, mutually agreed. He regrets not getting to know more about her. He can’t believe his luck when he sees her at his brother’s movie premiere. This is his second chance. He had no idea she was a Kingston and that she had a daughter. When he knocks on her door, he never expects to see his own eyes staring back at him. This is a fantastic, steamy, second chance romance with amazing characters! I love Nick’s character growth. Who can resist cute little 5 year old Leah! I love that Aurora still lives more on the frugal side instead of someone with a ton of money, which she has. I always look forward to visiting the Kingston family and the Dare families.

Wow what a fantastic book and I loved every word of Aurora and Nick and their daughter Leah’s story . A one night together produced a daughter Leah , Nick never knew about her for six years , but when he found out you couldn’t find a better dad. This whole book was a wonderful read and I highly recommend it .

Carly Phillips never fails to give us a book with everything! The heat, laughs, tears and joy can all be found within this book. Aurora and Nick could have been the typical star-crossed lovers, but thankfully that wasn’t the case. If you’re familiar with Ms. Phillips other books you’ll see some familiar faces/names with the Dare family.

I've been waiting, it seems for forever, for Aurora's story. Then to have it be a crossover novel with the new Dare series, BONUS. I love the Dare's and have enjoyed the Kingston's. I was looking forward to knowing what happened with Leah's daddy. Quite the story. I think one of the things I enjoyed most and wish I had seen more of, was Aurora's charity. It is such a great idea and I was so glad she was able to accomplish that. Now back to Aurora and Nick. They are actually a good couple. She feels more comfortable with him than anyone else and she is able to open up about her childhood and how she feels about it and her fears that stem from it. Nick is understanding and compassionate, and a freaking God with his patience. But the best part was when Melly sat Aurora down and point blank told her to imagine her life with Nick as just Leah's dad. Could she live with that? Probably the best thing that she could have done.

An awesome book

Aurora has been on her own for most of her life. When Lincoln found her she was alone and pregnant and didn’t realize the gift of family she just received. Five years later she sees her daughter’s father. The man she knew only as Nick. Nick can’t believe his eyes. The woman he couldn’t get out of his head is here and he isn’t letting her slip away. Soon he finds out he is a father. Convincing Aurora to take a chance on him is his one goal in life. He is to about to lose his one love and his daughter this time. Such a perfect ending for Aurora, Nick and Leah. I loved it!
