“I'm not sure what possessed me to do it. Maybe it was the impossible expectations I faced, maybe it was my own self-loathing. But I just knew I needed something different to happen. I needed derail me from my current path. Otherwise, I would become lost...a hollowed out shell of a man. So I did it. I approached her, then I pursued her, then I made her mine. And my life was saved...”

This is a cute fast read. Ryan is the privileged son of a politician and Danny is a musical genius who was forced to give up a scholarship from Juliard to take care of her dying mother. Now she is waitressing and attending classes trying to save money. She meets Ryan at the diner where she works and it’s and instant attraction. Unfortunate Danny is not what Ryan’s family wants for him luckily Ryan is ready to stand up for what he wants and what he wants is Danny.
  • Waste of $

This might be one of the worst things I've ever read. Extremely cheesy, sounds like it's written by a high school student (and not a talented one). Don't waste your time or money. I couldn't even finish it.
  • Super sweet

Very well written, sweet and sooo romantic, told from two points of views. Strong female and male lead. Great character development. I could not put it down. Totally recommend :)

  • Too Cheesy!

It was a good idea for a story and had lots of love, but it was WAY too cheesy and corny. It was also very short (although I couldn't have read much more of this book) and at times too slow. I love love, and am a big romance novel reader, but this was too much even for me.
