Description

Colleen Hoover, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us, It Ends with Us, and Maybe Someday brilliantly brings to life the story of the hilarious and charismatic Warren in this novella.

When Warren has the opportunity to live with a female roommate, he instantly agrees. It could be an exciting change.

Or maybe not.

Especially when that roommate is the cold and seemingly calculating Bridgette. Tensions run high and tempers flare as the two can hardly stand to be in the same room together. But Warren has a theory about Bridgette: anyone who can hate with that much passion should also have the capability to love with that much passion. And he wants to be the one to test this theory.

Will Bridgette find it in herself to warm her heart to Warren and finally learn to love?

Maybe.

Maybe not.

This book was good, seeing how Warren and Bridgette’s relationship has developed, but was kind of pointless. There was barely any talk of Ridge and Sydney which I are the true main characters. This is not a must read. I would go from Maybe Someday straight to Maybe Now.

This little novella was a waste. Just two kids teasing each other and having sex a few times. I don’t understand how this is going to help understand Maybe Now. Hopefully the next book redeems the series.

He’s the guy who finds his new roommate insanely attractive, he is also the guy who can’t stand to be around his mean new roommate. Even though she’s the most inconsiderate person he’s ever met in real life, he can’t stop smiling. She’s confusing. She’s frustrating. She’s unpredictable. She’s nothing He’s ever wanted in a girl. And absolutely everything he needed. Overall: This was a sexually driven story. I was surprised by the number of sex scenes. I underestimated Colleen I didn’t think she had it in her to write these type of sex scenes. They were fun to read. This didn’t read like a typical Colleen Hoover book. Which suits me fine. Nothing wrong with variety. This was a quick fun read with lots of sex and pranks.

This was a quick and entertaining novella about Warren and Bridgette, who we met in Maybe Someday. They weren't my favorite characters, but it was fun to get back into the world of Ridge and Sydney so I decided to give it a shot. It's told from Warren's POV and there are plenty of laugh out loud moments. I wasn't emotionally invested in these characters, but I did enjoy finding out the backstory to their tumultuous relationship and I liked that some things referenced in Maybe Someday were answered here (ie: Warren's porn addiction!) Overall, it was a light and funny read, but you're not missing much if you decide to skip it.

I love how Colleen takes her characters to the deepest, darkest places and brings them out new and improved, even in her short stories she makes you feel...every single thing! You quickly learn how each characters is and why they are the way they are, how they got there and how life's little changes can make all the difference in the world. Warren and Bridgette are no exception. They are cruel, play pranks, fight, laugh, live and eventually love and it is an amazing journey to experience! Thank you so much for this great read!
