Description

A special 25th anniversary edition of the extraordinary international bestseller, including a new Foreword by Paulo Coelho.

Combining magic, mysticism, wisdom and wonder into an inspiring tale of self-discovery, The Alchemist has become a modern classic, selling millions of copies around the world and transforming the lives of countless readers across generations.

Paulo Coelho's masterpiece tells the mystical story of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy who yearns to travel in search of a worldly treasure. His quest will lead him to riches far different—and far more satisfying—than he ever imagined. Santiago's journey teaches us about the essential wisdom of listening to our hearts, of recognizing opportunity and learning to read the omens strewn along life's path, and, most importantly, to follow our dreams.

This book was assigned to me for a class. But, when I tell you I’ve never been so entertained by an assignment. The author did a really good job on this story. I would really recommend this book if your into adventures.

For me this book was read at a time in my life where I needed it the most. The story of Santiago and his personal legend is one full of surprises and hope for better days. I felt enriched after having read the book. With the knowledge that all is achievable with the proper mindset.

I love this book. A must read for all. Not only it changes u after u read it, but I love how the author makes the lessons to be learned into a story. If ever was the day I was lost on an island, and I have to choose 1 book with me, I still will have this book with me any day! Completely love it! And the only book I have that I keep re-reading on a monthly basis.

Well as a child if we had only had such a vision of conquest of sorts to pursue wouldn’t have been a life long journey. So many of us decided to do we we think we are suppose to do and miss the opportunity. I hope we can rekindle the sense of adventure and remember God is with us in our fears to overcome or uncertainties. Glad I got to read as an adult. To old now to do much but there is always hope and we can still dream.
  • Too expensive- price gouging

$13.99 for an ebook, and not available on the competitors platform. More expensive than the paper version. This is what monopolies and corporate cartels look like. Meanwhile when you buy a Blu-ray you get the digital version for free.
