    I loved the setting this book took place in. My heart broke for young Ashlyn and her dad. The friendliness Mia encountered was heartwarming and the love she found feels so true. A perfect beach read.

    I really enjoyed this story. It starts off calm and then moves into a mystery. The ending was a surprise, but I don’t know if I agree with the decision that was made about the criminal.

    I enjoyed reading Mia & Jeremy’s love story. It had a lot of holes in the plot, but overall the characters were likable & you couldn’t help being involved with them. I could suspend believability until we got to the part of stopping a fight between 2 warriors trained to be fighting machines by spraying them with water! Really??? But up to then, it was a pretty good book.

    I really liked this book until the female character displayed a total lack of ethics in releasing the art thief allowing him to accept employment with a security firm. Turning a criminal loose to prey on others does not absolve one of responsibility. That action was a total contradiction to the tone of the book making the character spineless and immoral. I will not be reading any other books by this author.

    Really liked this book- story line wasn’t totally predictable like many others. Had a little mystery mixed with the romantic story. Characters were believable and setting description was beautiful.
