Book three in the New York Times and USA Today bestselling The Wedding Pact series.

Libby St. Clair believes in fate—so much so, she’s willing to pin everything on a curse a fortune teller placed on her and her two best friends when they were kids. The curse, that each of them will marry before thirty, have a disaster of a wedding, and end up with a man other than her original fiancé, has come to fruition for both of her friends, who are now deliriously happy. But Libby’s attempt to quick-start the curse by proposing to her wrong-for-her boyfriend ends in a wild dash from the altar. She’s rescued by her friend Noah, the only person who understands her impulsive decisions--because he’s the same way.
Having spent most of his adulthood fleeing responsibility and commitment, Noah McMillan is finally ready to grow up. Of course, figuring out how is still a work in progress. When he realizes he’s in love with Libby, he flies to Kansas City to put a stop to her wedding. But Libby’s already pulled a runaway bride. Eager to cheer her up and prove that he can be the man she deserves, he takes her on a madcap car trip that will bring them all the way to the City of Sin.
In Vegas, those who risk it all either win big or lose everything, so what will happen if Libby and Noah take a gamble on love?

  • The BEST in the series!

I loved it! It was the best of the Wedding Pact series. There were scenes that literally made me laugh. This book is definitely a romantic comedy and a thoroughly enjoyable, lighthearted read. The characters are believable and well-developed. I highly recommend this book.

The three books in this series were so much fun! I have enjoyed all books by this author.
  • Loved the entire series

I plowed through this entire book series! I loved every character even during their self-doubt self talk which can be so frustrating! I laughed out loud during The Gambler, something hard to accomplish in contemporary romance! Thank you for a great time.
  • Fall in Love with The Gambler

Of the books so far in the series, The Gambler is my favorite. It brings together new and old characters–like granny!–so that you as the reader can enjoy in some normalcy while exploring the love between Libby and Noah. One of my favorite aspects about this book over the other two is that the love between Libby and Noah is slow building. The two have been friends for a while, but both have ignored their obvious attraction for each other because Libby is engaged and Noah is just a huge sex fiend. The road trip to Vegas proves to be an exciting ride. Why can’t all road trips be like this? Denise Grover Swank perfectly described how road trips go to. I love that Noah was keeping it a secret from Libby where they were going. And once they were in Vegas, Libby and Noah get a few surprises from back home. They are hysterical and well placed to continue the build up of the romance. For those of you who are just looking for some hot steamy sex all over a romance book, this isn’t where you should turn. The sex is a HUGE build up between Noah and Libby and how their relationship functions, it works 100%. I applaud Denise Grover Swank for how long it took for our lovely couple to finally consummate their relationship. And when she did, the details in it were nothing that was lewd or too descriptive. It was done in a very classy, Denise Grover Swank, kind of way. The woman has a talent for writing those scenes, seriously! If you’re looking for fun, quirky, hysterical, and honest romance, you need to pick up this book! If you haven’t checked out the remainder of the series, start with The Substitute, then The Player, and finally The Gambler. You won’t be disappointed. Overall 5/5 rating. A great romance novel that makes you feel good.

I literally laughed out loud. Seriously. Out. Loud. This was my favorite of the three books in this series. Libby and Noah are witty and clever and so, so endearing, and I enjoyed tagging along on their adventure.
  • An ending? Or new beginnings?

DSW hits another one full out of the park with the 3rd installment. I've grown rather fond of the fated trio through their intertwined pasts and wonderful love stories that were a whirlwind of real life with their believable personifications. Now, how can she stop here? There are babies coming! I don't want the ride to end here.
  • Love this book, series, and author!

Over the last couple of months, Denise Grover Swank has quickly become my favorite author. After reading the entire Rose Gardner series, I decided to read the first wedding pact book to pass some time while waiting for the next Rose Gardner book. I am SO HAPPY that I decided to read The Substitute because this series quickly became my favorite. The Gambler was my favorite of the series, although they are all wonderful. Thank you Denise for creating these beautiful characters and stories. Please please please consider a fourth book to the series! I miss these characters already. My only complaint is my total lack of productivity since being introduced to this series because I could not put the books down. If you are still reading this review, stop immediately and go read the wedding pact instead!
  • The substitute, the player and the gambler!!

What a wonderful ride, mind you, I never ever write reviews but I think this incredibly hilarious and romantic trilogy deserves a review, I have never laughed so hard while reading a romance novel, and I discovered the trilogy's existence this Sunday, I couldn't get enough! I hope the author continues to fuel the world of literature with more of her stories!
